Dust in the Wind by Kansas covers holes 1–7 of a C harmonica and needs no bends. Draw 4 is the centre of the melody: it is played 46 times, sometimes five times in a row. Line 3 is the longest and the one to practise: -5 5 -4 -4 5 5 -4 4 -3 3 -4 -4 -4 -4 -4 4 -3 3 walks down to blow 3 twice and repeats draw 4 five times in the middle. Play it slowly with a light tongue stroke on each repeated -4, so the notes stay separate, then bring it up to the speed of the recording.
